Our Stalaxy Beginner online course is aimed at beginners without any previous knowledge. If you've always wanted to learn the saxophone, this course is a great way to get started!
The basics and fundamentals are taught and the course starts from scratch. Topics such as setting up and dismantling the saxophone, embouchure, finger position, reading music and the first songs are covered without any pressure and the videos allow you to learn and progress at your own pace.
The course is divided into different lessons in which new things are taught. For most lessons there is also download material with sheet music, exercises and playalongs. There is always a version of the playalongs with alto sax, without alto sax, with tenor sax and without tenor sax. This means you can play the songs with us at the beginning and also listen to the songs.
All the songs in the online course have been produced and written by us. We ourselves are tired of boring children's songs, which are compulsory in almost every book at the beginning, and have done our best to make the songs interesting and cool even with just a few notes or rhythms.

In the course, Marius explains everything on his Stalaxy alto and Andre on the tenor. After the joint greeting, we start with the tenor. This is always followed by the alto part and at the end there is always a joint ending. The videos are marked and you can jump to the alto or tenor parts and don't have to watch everything twice or search for parts. In general, however, this can of course also be very helpful, as we don't necessarily explain everything 100% the same way and sometimes have slightly different approaches, which then lead to the same goal in the end! Of course, it's also a great advantage to have input from two teachers.
