Our vision
We are Andre and Marius, both studied jazz and pop saxophone at the ArtEZ University of Applied Sciences in Arnhem in the Netherlands and have been working as professional saxophonists and music teachers ever since.
We have been playing together in various bands and saxophone ensembles since we were twelve years old. Even then, we felt that the saxophone was often considered old-fashioned or boring.
Many people only saw us as "uncool brass musicians".
Since our youth, we have shared the vision of bringing a new, contemporary saxophone onto the market. In short, we simply wanted to make the saxophone cool again. With the Stalaxy, this vision has now become reality.

In addition to the futuristic and modern design, the saxophone should of course be excellent to play and make no compromises when it comes to sound.
We wanted everyone who plays the Stalaxy to have a high-quality instrument and also be perceived as cool.
When buying a saxophone, our students always ask us the same questions: Which strap, which reeds and which accessories should be purchased additionally?
With the Stalaxy, we have created a complete package for which you don't need anything else.

Marius and Andre's story
First appearance
After playing together in bands and saxophone ensembles for over five years, we had our first performance together in 2013 - at Marius' father's 50th birthday party.
Of course, we totally tore it up together, and that laid the foundation for our further "party saxophonist career".
Back then, we dreamed of one day being able to make a living from music and playing the saxophone. On the day the photo was taken, we were joking about how cool it would be if we could achieve that together one day.
Together to the Baltic Sea
Street music
In 2015, we went to the Baltic Sea together and played street music on Timmendorfer Strand.
Accompanied by two other friends - a saxophonist and a drummer - we provided a great atmosphere for two days until the local shopkeepers finally asked us to change the stage.
This was also the year in which we started our saxophone studies and moved to Arnhem.
Our music studies
The foundation stone for Stalaxy
In 2018, we performed together almost every week with saxophone ensembles, big bands, jazz combos, etc. We both really enjoyed our time as students.
When we were out and about together in Düsseldorf on a day off, we came across a matt black Mercedes G-Class on our walk. We both looked at each other and knew immediately:
We need to create a saxophone brand that has exactly this color.
At the time, we didn't know what path we were heading down, but we are happy to have had the idea and to have gone down this path together and to continue on it with you.
Friendship for life
Professional musician
Today, we can both make a living from music and are proud to have fulfilled this dream. However, we are even prouder that we have already been able to bring joy to many saxophonists with our Stalaxy.
The love for our profession and the combination of playing, teaching and entrepreneurial work at our company make us look forward to the future with great anticipation.
We are looking forward to taking further steps together. We still have big plans for Stalaxy in particular and can't wait to introduce you to more projects.
